So, how does one become a wedding officiant? For me, it started with a request from dear friends to officiate their wedding. It was such a great experience that it inspired me to do more.

I live in the Metro Detroit area and have been happily married since 1987 to my wonderful wife, Chris. I enjoy sports, reading, running, pickleball, and music. Approaching retirement, I realized that I’m not the type to sit still, so voila … The Matrimony Man was born.

As your wedding officiant, my goal is help you create a ceremony that meets your needs and reflects who you are. Whether a full ceremony or a simple “court house” wedding, the goal is the same: a lasting memory of your wedding day.
